When ordering event stationery at Nikki Swift Designs, the following terms and conditions apply. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or via post at 15 Hove Avenue, Newport NP19 7QP.
Payment: Designing will begin once the deposit has been paid. The outstanding balance will be due once the designs have been completed, prior to the printing of the order. Printing will not take place until the full balance has been paid. If you would prefer to spread the cost further, please indicate this in an email and we can arrange a payment plan.
Changes: Digital proofs of your stationery will always be emailed to you before printing, so that you can confirm that you are happy with the design and that all details are correct. At this stage you are free to make as many changes as you want, at no extra charge – I will happily alter or redo the design as many times as it takes to ensure that it is perfect. Nothing will be printed without your confirmation. However, if changes to the design or details need to be made after printing has begun, you will need to cover the cost of re-printing the items.
Colours and Variations: I have done my best to accurately show the colours of all products, but screen displays and photographs can vary. Please bear in mind that some colours may look different in reality. Please contact me if you wish to discuss colour matching a particular shade for your wedding. Due to the handmade nature of some orders, small variations may occur. In the event that your chosen card stock, embellishments or other materials are unavailable at the time of ordering, we reserve the right to substitute these for materials of an equal quality. You will be informed of any significant changes that may need to be made.
Errors: All text will be copied exactly as it is sent to me. I cannot be held responsible for any errors in spelling or details that you provide. Please ensure all proofs are thoroughly checked for mistakes in spelling, punctuation, grammar, wedding details and guest names. If you believe that you have made a mistake, please contact me as soon as possible. If the design has already been sent to print, you will unfortunately need to cover the cost of re-printing the items. In the event that an error is made by Nikki Swift Designs, the items will be reprinted at no additional cost.
Cancellation / Refunds: In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your order, please let me know as soon as possible. If work has not begun, your deposit will be returned in full. An agreed design fee will be retained in the event that significant time has been spent on your designs. Full costs will be incurred if the items have already been printed and constructed. As items are made to order, refunds are unfortunately not available unless the items are damaged or faulty, in which case the items will be replaced ‘like for like’. Please ensure you are happy with all details of the design prior to printing.
Quantity: It is your responsibility to ensure you have ordered enough of each stationery item. With items such as invitations and Save the Dates we will always advise that you purchase a few extras in case of late additions to your guest list. Due to increased printing costs on small quantities, additional items ordered at a later date may cost significantly more than the original prices paid.
Samples and Promotion: Nikki Swift Designs reserves the right to use samples of completed orders for photographs, portfolio and marketing purposes. This includes photographing the finished work for use on our website and social media. Your contact details such as phone numbers and addresses will be covered or blurred from all photographs posted online. Additional details such as surnames, wedding dates and venues can also be hidden on request. Samples of your stationery may also be shown in person to prospective clients. If you would prefer that your designs are not shared, please let us know as soon as possible.
Copyright: All design work remains the property of Nikki Swift Designs and cannot be copied or reproduced in any way without permission. For example, any original motif designed for your purchased stationery may not be used in further matching items created by yourself or a third party without consent. Depending on the nature of the request, a fee may be applicable.
It is your responsibility to obtain the correct copyright permission for hymns, readings, poems or photographs that you wish to include in your stationery. You agree to indemnify Nikki Swift Designs against any action for breach of copyright of such items.
Delivery: Customers are welcome to collect their orders for free from Newport, South Wales. When this is not possible, orders will be sent via a tracked and insured postal service. A signature will be required on delivery. Nikki Swift Designs cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery due to circumstances out of our control, such as postal strikes or adverse weather conditions.
Storage of Delivered Items: Any defects or damage to your items must be reported to Nikki Swift Designs by email within 24 hours of the order being received by the customer. Once you have received your wedding stationery, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that it remains in good condition. Printed items should be stored flat, in a dry environment at room temperature. Stationery may become damaged when exposed to damp conditions, hot or cold temperatures and/or direct sunlight. Due to the delicate nature of stationery, all items should be handled with care.
